Best Practices in Pediatric Patient Experience

Pediatric patient experience differs significantly from other healthcare sectors, with the family playing a crucial role, especially since children may not always be able to express their feelings or needs. This Training Capsule introduces global best practices centered on child-focused care in hospitals.

It also showcases successful European projects that address the unique needs of pediatric patients compared to adults. However, there are existing barriers to providing an effective patient experience. Our expert speaker, Vita Steina, patient experience expert in Latvia, will discuss key considerations that innovators and healthcare providers should apply to enhance care in pediatrics.
