“First-hand experience of start-ups in pediatric innovation”

In this capsule, we will delve into the real-life experiences of two European pediatric start-ups, exploring the barriers and opportunities encountered on their entrepreneurial journeys.  From the challenges in financing to the complexities of commercialization, they will share key insights into the drivers that enabled them to overcome obstacles and address pediatric needs effectively.

We are privileged to feature:

• Gate2Brain: A Spanish biotech start-up focused on developing therapeutics that efficiently cross biological barriers, such as the blood-brain barrier, recent follower-up in the Wild Card 2023 finals.
• Tully: A Romanian medtech start-up specializing in ADHD treatment. Tully integrates discrete sensors into a bracelet to monitor the level of agitation a child is experiencing.

Following the engaging presentation of these two start-ups, we will open up a 15-minute Q&A session, providing the audience with the opportunity to share their thoughts and opinions on the topic. We look forward to an interactive and insightful discussion.
